I was browsing some articles on problogger.net and noticed a good article he posted about plagiarism, because he happened to be a victim of it. He mentioned a great tool on how to find out who copied your article from all over the internet, which is copyscape. Though he mentioned this tool four years ago, I guess it is worth mentioning again, especially for the new bloggers like me who don't know that there is this kind of tool.

So what is copyscape? It is a tool that scans I guess all of your blog's content, and searches for same content all over the internet. You will input your blog's url on copyscape's search field, and copyscape will look for same content of your blog from each article(I guess) existing on the internet. It will show you results of articles that may have the same content as with your blog. Isn't that great? =]

Though this is not really offer you complete protection against people who practices plagiarism, at least you know who or which site copies your content. Then you can follow the steps Darren Rowse suggests in his article if you ever found a plagiarizer by clicking here.

You can also put a banner like the one below to scare away plagiarizers, lol.
